ANNASOFIE FLAMAND      
  Danish born and English educated journalist. Graduated from the London School of Journalism in 1998. Shortly after graduating, Annasofie founded Middle East Television (METV) where she researched, wrote and directed two documentaries. One of these documentaries focused on the armed Islamic struggle against the Israeli occupation of South Lebanon. She followed and filmed Hizballah and Amal on the front line and gained unique access to several Palestinian training camps. The film was nominated for the Rory Peck award. Her second documentary 'The Double Edged Sword' was shot in Iraq and investigated the effects of Depleted Uranium (DU) ten years after 'Operation Desert Storm'.

Annasofie has written for several Danish and international papers and magazines. She was the London correspondent for the Danish international affairs magazine 'Kontakt'.

Interests: Middle Eastern and African politics, books and travelling. Enjoys skiing, horseback riding and hiking.

 
         
 

CHRISTOFFER SJOQVIST

     
 

Danish by birth, graduated from the London School of Economics in 1997. Following this he spent three years working for an investment bank in London and more recently in Singapore. He specialised in international mergers, acquisitions and financings for corporate clients and governments in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong. In June 2000, he moved from Singapore back to London to pursue an opportunity to work for a broadband communications provider as part of a small team building the European business.

Christoffer recently left the company to organise Landmine Expedition 2001 full-time.

Interests: Mountaineering, scuba diving and travel, especially throughout SE Asia. He is a qualified pilot and also enjoys martial arts.
